Greensboro/US – September 10, 2026 The Women Leaders Association, the largest publisher and events organization for women professionals with 43,000 members and more than 130 regional chapters, today announced Mona Fowler as the first official Coaching Partner of its Greensboro chapter. The appointment launches the association’s Coaching Partners program in the Triad, giving members direct access to coaches screened for credentials, track record, and client results.
Coaching is one of the highest-impact investments a professional woman can make in her career, and one of the hardest to shop for. Titles are unregulated and quality varies enormously. Under Coaching Partners, the association does the screening on the member’s behalf, vetting every coach for recognized certifications, verifiable experience, and excellent client reviews, so members can book a consultation with confidence.
Mona believes leadership can be refined and strengthened through intentional growth, the idea her practice is named for. As founder of Fowler Intentional Growth Resources, she partners with leaders and teams to unlock their potential and lead with confidence, purpose, and impact.
She arrived at coaching by an unusual route. Trained as a mechanical engineer, with a bachelor’s and master’s from North Carolina A&T State University, Mona spent more than 25 years across supply chain, human resources, information technology, and sales, working with leaders at every level including C-suite executives. She led teams that ran high-speed manufacturing operations at Corning Incorporated and Unilever, then spent twenty years at Molson Coors in a range of leadership roles — shop floor leader, manufacturing development, and HR business partner — finishing her corporate career as Director of People Development and then Executive Development Director for the Americas.
That path shows in how she coaches. She has led change on a plant floor and built leadership capability at the executive table, so she is equally comfortable with the systems view and the human one. She specializes in helping leaders navigate complexity, strengthen emotional intelligence, build trust, and translate insight into action, and she uses assessments to help clients see their strengths and opportunities clearly enough to set real growth goals. She is certified in Hogan, Emergenetics, EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360, and the Six Types of Working Genius, holds an ICF Associate Certified Coach credential, and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional.
Alongside her own practice, Mona continues to develop leaders as a consultant to Molson Coors, facilitating its leadership development program along with FranklinCovey and Situational Leadership curricula, and as program manager, facilitator, and coach for AALAM’s nine-month leadership development program. Across two cohorts she has supported 28 emerging and established leaders, and in the most recent cohort every participant reported that coaching contributed positively to their leadership growth.
“I believe leadership can be refined and strengthened through intentional growth,” said Mona. “I have sat on both sides of this: leading operations where the pressure is immediate and measurable, and building the development programs that decide who is ready for what comes next. What I bring to coaching is that combination. We work on navigating complexity, strengthening emotional intelligence, and building trust, and then we translate the insight into action, because insight that does not change what you do on Monday is not worth much. I am honored to bring that to the Women Leaders Association’s Greensboro members.”

“Mona built leaders for a living inside two global companies before she ever hung out her own shingle,” said Lydia Price, 2026 Volunteer Chair of the Women Leaders Association. “An engineer who rose through operations and human resources to run executive development for the Americas, and who is credentialed in nearly every assessment our members encounter: that is a rare combination, and it is exactly what a leader in the Triad wants beside her.”
The Greensboro launch is part of a national rollout extending Coaching Partners across the association’s network of more than 130 chapters, pairing each city’s members with coaches selected for that market.
Coaching Partners extends the association’s mission of giving professional women both structural transparency and individual support. Research from Pew and others estimates that women still earn roughly 15 percent less than men on average, and most have little visibility into which employers advance women fairly. The association’s Glass Ceiling Score project scores most major U.S. employers on how fairly they promote women into management and executive roles. Coaching Partners adds the personal dimension: once a member sees the landscape clearly, a proven coach helps her move through it.
