Industry’s premier charity golf event will introduce transitioning service members to career opportunities in the rapidly growing data center industry

AUSTIN, TX, UNITED STATES, August 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Anchor of Hope Invitational, one of the signature events of the Data Center Anti-Conference (DCAC) USA 2026, returns this August with its largest veteran workforce initiative to date, bringing together leaders from across the data center industry to help transitioning service members launch their next careers.

The Anchor of Hope Invitational has quickly become one of the most anticipated events at DCAC USA, bringing together the industry’s operators, builders and decision-makers for a day that means far more than golf. This year’s tournament will be played across The Hills Signature Course and Flintrock Falls, two of Texas’ most prestigious and exclusive private golf courses. With participation limited and demand at an all-time high, the Invitational has already generated a waiting list of hundreds of industry professionals eager to participate. What sets the event apart, however, isn’t its exclusivity, its purpose.

Every registration helps support DCAC’s Anchor of Hope Initiative, a partnership with Overwatch Mission Critical and Veteran Hiring Solutions (VHS) that introduces transitioning service members to careers in the rapidly growing data center industry. Through an all-expenses-paid VIP experience, veterans within six months of military separation receive conference registration, travel, lodging and direct access to industry leaders while exploring career opportunities spanning every phase of data center development, from construction and commissioning to operations and long-term facility management.

The initiative is producing meaningful results. Over the past two years, nearly 80 percent of participating veterans have secured employment opportunities through relationships developed at DCAC, making this year’s class the largest in the program’s history.
