Logistics Plus Earns SQF Certification for Its Chino, California Warehouse

The global logistics leader now offers SQF-certified, food-grade warehousing across its West Coast network.

(LP), a global leader in transportation, logistics, and unique supply chain solutions, today announced that its Chino, California warehouse has earned Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification — one of the most rigorous, internationally recognized food safety and quality standards in the world. The milestone follows SQF certification of LP’s Phoenix, Arizona warehouse earlier this year, meaning both of the company’s major West Coast warehouses are now SQF certified.

Recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), SQF certification confirms that a facility follows a documented, independently audited food safety management system spanning sanitation, storage conditions, traceability, employee training, and recall readiness. For the food and beverage brands LP serves, an SQF-certified warehouse means retail-ready, food-grade storage and fulfillment—and a partner whose certification reduces their audit burden and accelerates their path to market.

LP’s Chino facility offers more than 565,000 square feet of food-grade storage and fulfillment space, with 140 trailer storage spaces, 107 dock-high positions, heavy-lift forklift capability, and complete pick, pack, and ship services. Strategically located in California’s Inland Empire, the facility serves the Los Angeles basin and West Coast ports and is also licensed to handle the warehousing and distribution of alcohol products. Together with LP’s Phoenix warehouses, the company now offers more than 3 million square feet of West Coast warehousing space across California and Arizona.
